Keonjhar: Three persons, including a woman, were killed near Padmapur Gate Chhak on Anandapur-Karanjia road in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Friday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Sahdev Behera, his wife Chandini Behera, and their son-in-law Abhiram Behera. While Sahadev and Chandini are residents of Kalabila village under Ghashipura police limits, Abhiram is a native of Batpalasa village under Karanjia police limits in Mayurbhanj district.
According to reports, the accident occurred when two bikes coming from opposite directions collided head-on. All three were killed on the spot.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel and an ambulance reached the spot and shifted the bodies to Anandapur Sub-Divisional Hospital. Later, Anandapur police reached the spot and started a probe into the mishap.
