Malkangiri: Tension and outrage gripped MV-72 village under MV-79 police station after a shocking case emerged in which a local man allegedly raped three minor girls by luring them with the promise of ice cream.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday. Following the assault, the families of the victims approached the MV-79 police station and lodged a formal complaint.
The IIC of MV-79 police station confirmed receipt of the complaint and stated that the investigation is being conducted with utmost seriousness.
Widespread anger and resentment have spread through the village as residents demand swift justice.
