Bhubaneswar: Three Odisha-cadre IPS officers were on Wednesday promoted to the rank of Director General of Police.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Sudhanshu Sarangi, Arun Kumar Sarangi and Yogesh Bahadur Khurania have been promoted to the rank of DGP in the Level-16 pay matrix.
All three senior police officers are from the 1990 batch of the IPS. YB Khurania is currently on central deputation while Sudhanshu Sarangi and Arun Sarangi are posted in the parent cadre.
