Bhubaneswar: Three startups from Odisha earned national recognition on Friday after showcasing their innovative solutions at an exclusive exhibition held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
The event, organised at the Cultural Centre of Rashtrapati Bhavan under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), brought together promising startups and innovators from across the country. The three Odisha-based companies — selected under the Startup Odisha initiative — also had the opportunity to interact with President Droupadi Murmu.
The participating startups were GARGI Automated & Robotic Gadget Industries Private Limited, Newrup Tech Solutions, and Urban-Hyphae Bioscience. Each presented technology-driven solutions addressing critical challenges in healthcare, clean energy, and sustainable materials.
GARGI Automated & Robotic Gadget Industries, founded by Shital Zemane, displayed assistive technologies designed for persons with physical disabilities. The company develops automated and robotic mobility solutions, including transformable bed-chair systems and exoskeleton technologies aimed at enhancing accessibility and independent living.
Newrup Tech Solutions, led by Anup Paikaray, showcased CHULIV, a clean cooking device developed to reduce indoor air pollution while improving fuel efficiency. The innovation seeks to tackle health and environmental issues linked to traditional cooking methods.
Urban-Hyphae Bioscience, founded by Adhiraj Mohapatra, demonstrated its work on producing mushroom-based leather alternatives from agricultural waste. The startup focuses on creating sustainable materials using renewable resources and promoting circular economy practices.
The participation of these three ventures at the prestigious Rashtrapati Bhavan platform highlights the growing strength of Odisha’s innovation-driven startup ecosystem on the national stage.
