Bhadrak: As many as three persons sustained burn injuries as a fire broke out at a residential property at Gudia Sahi under Dhamnagar block in Bhadrak district, on Wednesday night.
According to reports, the fire broke out when a gas cylinder exploded during cooking at the house of Brundaban Sahu. Two adjacent houses were damaged due to the fire mishap. However, it has been reported that the gas cylinder in the house first leaked and then later exploded
Villagers rushed the injured, including Brundaban, his wife Basanti, and son Dipak, to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
Upon being informed, Firefighters promptly rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
The injured are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, and their condition is reported to be critical.
