Cuttack: In a shocking incident, three police personnel were stabbed and injured while on patrol duty in Cuttack late Wednesday night.
As per reports, the attack took place near a pond inside the premises of the OMP 6th Battalion in Cuttack last night.
According to preliminary information, a young couple was sitting in the area. When the patrolling police team asked them to disperse, they allegedly turned aggressive and attacked the policemen with knives. The injured policemen sustained stab wounds on the neck, back, and hands. All three have been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment.
Chauliaganj police registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.
