Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur in 20 districts of Odisha within the next three hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by the India Meteorological Department’s Meteorological Centre here on Monday at 4.00 PM.
“Light to moderate rain/thundershower is likely to affect some parts of districts of Keonjhar, Balasore, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Angul, Mayurbhanj, Gajapati, Khordha, Koraput, Balangir, Deogarh, Rayagada, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Sundargarh, Subarnapur, Boudh, Dhenkanal and Bhadrak within next three hours,” said the nowcast warning issued at 4.00 PM.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for the above mentioned districts.
The weather agency has advised people to keep a watch on weather and accordingly move to safer places.
