Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rain is likely to affect some parts of the districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Bargarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Boudh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore during the next three hours, said a nowcast warning issued by the Meteorological Centre here at 2.42 PM.
The Meteorological Centre has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for the aforementioned districts.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
