Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow Warning for several districts of Odisha, forecasting thunderstorm activity.
As per the latest bulletin valid till 8:30 am of October 13, thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty surface wind with speed reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Kataka, Sundaragada, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
The weather office has advised people to remain aware and take precautionary measures during thunderstorm activity and avoid taking shelter under trees.
