Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, and Gajapati over the next 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted in its midday weather bulletin today.
The weather forecasting agency has issued a yellow alert for the aforementioned districts.
Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Rayagada and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours, IMD has said in its forecast.
The sky in Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood is likely to remain partly cloudy with the possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm. Maximum and Minimum temperature is very likely to be around 38°C and 25°C respectively, the IMD added.
