Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rain with wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places over six Odisha districts within next three hours.
According to nowcast warning issued by the India Meteorological Department at 3 PM, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Jagatsinghpur And Kendrapada districts are likely to witness thunderstorms with lightning, light to moderate rain with wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph during next three hours.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
