Thunderstorms To Hit 13 Odisha Districts Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface wind speeds reaching 30-40 kmph in several districts of Odisha tomorrow.

The districts likely to be affected include Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, and Keonjhar. The IMD has issued a yellow warning for these districts.

Residents in these districts are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with the latest weather forecast.

In addition to the thunderstorms, the IMD has also predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in various parts of the state. The weather department has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea during this period.
