Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for 21 districts of Odisha on Thursday forecasting light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in next three hours.
As per the warning issued at 1:50 pm, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is very likely to occur at a few places over Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Balangir, Sonepur, Jharsuguda, Nayagada, Bhadrak, Nuapada, Bargada, Boudh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Anugola, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kataka, Khordha, Ganjam and Nabarangapur districts during the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
