Tipsy Man Dies After Jumping Off Moving Ambulance

Baripada: In a tragic incident, a 45-year-old man died after jumping out of a moving ambulance in an inebriated condition at Naranpur village under Badasahi police station in Mayurbhanj district.

Sapana Singh had fallen unconscious in an inebriated condition, which prompted locals to call the ‘108’ ambulance service. The ambulance rushed to the scene and rescued Singh, taking him to a local hospital.

However, in a shocking turn of events, Singh suddenly regained consciousness and jumped out of the moving ambulance, sustaining critical injuries. Despite efforts to save him, Singh was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The Badasahi police have registered a case of unnatural death and sent the body to PRM Medical College in Baripada for autopsy. The Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
