Puri: The body of a young man was recovered from a guest house in Khuntia Sahi of Puri town.Deceased Chinmaya Samal’s father has alleged foul play.
The deceased was found in a sitting position at the Radha Krishna Nivas guest house, and police have seized narcotics and injection syringes from the scene. The body has been sent to district headquarters Hospital for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
According to reports, Chinmaya had been staying at a drug de-addiction center with friends before checking into the Puri hotel. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
“Puri police have taken the incident seriously, and a thorough investigation is underway,” said Puri SP Prateek Singh. The police are awaiting the postmortem report to proceed with further action.
