Bhubaneswar: Train services in the Bhubaneswar area will be normalised from Thursday after the Commissioner of Railway Safety inspects the signalling works for the last patch of work between Mancheswar and Bhubaneswar of the Khurda Road-Barang third line on Wednesday.
According to the East Coast Railway (ECoR) authorities, major infrastructure and safety-related works at various places in the division are underway from August 12 to 30.
The extremely important project work related to the 3rd line between Bhubaneswar and Mancheswar was taken up along with major changes in the layout of Mancheswar Railway station from August 17 and will continue till August 30.
Major re-arrangement of the Signalling System in Bhubaneswar Railway station and entry and exit to and from Bhubaneswar Coach Maintenance Depot was badly affected during the period. Some trains originating or passing through Bhubaneswar were cancelled temporarily due to the project work. Train services that were affected on August 30 are as below:
