Triple Murder Rocks Junagarh In Odisha’s Kalahandi District

Kalahandi: Three bodies, including a woman and a child, were recovered from the roadside near Sankarpala village under Junagarh police limits in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Sunday. All the bodies bore cut marks.

According to preliminary reports, the deceased include a woman, a 2-year-old boy, and an elderly man. The deceased have been identified as Raimati Majhi of Shankarpala village, minor son Shivashakti Majhi, and Mahendra Kumar of the same village.

The reason behind the murders and the accused are yet to be ascertained.

On being informed about the incident, the Junagarh police reached the spot and started an investigation.

The triple murder has caused a commotion among the people in the region. A detailed report is awaited.
