Koraput: In a tragic incident, two minor boys riding a bike were crushed under the rear wheels of a truck in the district headquarters town of Koraput on Saturday.
According to reports, the two minor boys riding a bike while trying to overtake a truck going towards Sunabeda from Koraput near the railway over bridge under Sadar police limits lost their balance and were crushed to death after coming under the rear wheels of the truck.
While the minor boys died on the spot, their identities are yet to be established.
Tension ran high in the area following the accident. Police have seized the bodies and sent those for post-mortem.
While the truck driver has managed to flee the spot, police have seized the truck and are investigating the matter after registering a case.
