Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate of Police on Sunday arrested two persons in connection with the murder of a youth near Press Chowk here.
The accused were identified as Satya Prakash Singh and Satyaprakash Pandav. Another youth, allegedly an associate of the duo has been detained.
The incident occured on Saturday evening when one Niranjan Parida and Bishal Patra involved into an argument with a group. The scuffle turned violent following which the two were attacked.
According to reports, the incident was triggered by eve-teasing. Parida and Patra were rushed to a local hospital where the former succumbed, Patra is undergoing treatment.
