Berhampur: The District Special Force (DSF), under the direct supervision of the District Superintendent of Excise (DSE), Berhampur arrested two individuals with the seizure of heroin in the city on Wednesday.
Acting on credible information, the DSF team raided the 1st gate area of Autonagar and seized 50 grams of heroin (diacetylmorphine) along with Rs. 2,500 in sale proceeds.
Two young men, Siba Bhuyan (20) and Prakash Behera (26), both residents of the First Gate area, were arrested in connection with the case. The arrests were made with the assistance of Sadar police officials
The accused are being produced before the Court, officials said.
