Two Brothers Killed As Speeding Bike Hits Temple Gate In Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: Two youths died when the motorcycle collided with the gate of Maa Sinhasani temple at Tini Chhak under Polsara police station in Ganjam district on Sunday late at night.

The victims have been identified as Deepak Nayak (20) and Arat Nayak (20), both residents of Mangalpur village.

According to reports, the accident occurred as the speeding bike being ridden by the duo hit the temple’s gate.  They died instantly due to severe injuries.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Polasara police rushed to the scene and initiated an investigation. The bodies were sent to Polasara Community Health Centre for post-mortem examination and later dispatched to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for further procedures.

The ill-fated motorcycle has been seized by the police, who registered a case in this connection. Police investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
