Dhenkanal: The driver and helper of a ‘108’ ambulance sustained serious injuries after the emergency vehicle hit a roadside tree near Mahisapat in Dhenkanal district.
The ambulance was returning from Cuttack to its base after leaving a patient when it lost balance and hit a tree near Mahishapat on the outskirts of the town.
The mishap left the driver and helper seriously injured. Fire Department personnel rushed to the spot, rescued them in a critical condition. They have been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
