Bhawanipatna: Two persons were killed and another seriously injured after an 11 KV power line passing between Sulim village and Danikapel suddenly snapped and fell on them near Danikapel village in Lanjigarh block of Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Sunday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Kanga Majhi and Tingu Majhi, while their friend Dunge Majhi has been seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at a medical facility in Bhawanipatna.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the three friends were going to spend some time together in the village on Sunday evening. The three were rescued by the locals and rushed to Biswanathpur Community Health Centre where the doctors pronounced Kanga and Tingu dead.
