Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a weather alert for the districts of Sundergarh, Malkangiri, and Koraput, predicting thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rain within the next two hours.
According to the IMD report, some parts of these districts are likely to be affected by the inclement weather, prompting authorities to advise people to exercise caution and move to safer places if necessary.
Residents are advised to keep a watch on the weather and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety. The IMD has urged people to stay indoors and avoid travelling unless necessary. The weather alert is in effect for the next two hours.
