Bhubaneswar: Two youths were killed in a road mishap on the Dhamara–Basudevpur Road in Bhadrak district after an unidentified vehicle rammed into a motorcycle they were travelling in late Monday night.
The deceased identified as Deepak Raut and Chinmay Malik, are residents of Jajpur district and were employed as JCB operators.
According to reports, the accident took place when they were on their way to Basudevpur. Both of them were taken to Basudevpur Community Health Centre where both were declared dead.
Meanwhile, locals attributed overspeeding of heavy vehicles to the mishap.
