Bhubaneswar: Two persons were killed when the bike in which they were travelling hit a roadside tree near Nacchipur Chhak under Daspalla police limits in Nayagarh district on Tuesday evening.
The deceased persons have been identified as Gyana Ranjan Sahoo and Suryakant Behera.
According to report, both Sahoo and Behera were employees of Mukhyamantri Bus Service.
While Behera hailing from Dalak village under Odagaon police limits was serving as a Manager in Mukhyamantri Bus Service, Sahoo of Madhyakhand village under Daspalla police limits was serving as a Supervisor in Mukhyamantri Bus Service.
On being informed Daspalla police arrived at the spot and have seized the bodies before despatching them for post-mortem.
Tension prevailed in the area following the mishap.
