Two Killed As Speeding Vehicle Rams Into Car In Boudh; Driver On The Run

Bhubaneswar: Two persons were killed as a speeding, unidentified vehicle rammed into a car they were travelling in near Telibandha Chowk in Boudh district, on the Khordha-Balangir National Highway 57 in the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to local sources, the unknown vehicle hit the car from behind and dragged it some distance, resulting in the instant death of the occupants. The vehicle responsible for the accident, managed to flee the scene. The identities of the deceased are yet to be determined.

Upon being informed, Boudh police reached the spot, recovered the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination at Boudh District Headquarters Hospital. Also, police have launched a manhunt to nab the driver responsible for the mishap.
