Cuttack: As many as two persons were killed in an accident which occurred at the Rathagada Square in Athagarh on Wednesday morning.
The victims have been identified as Ram Nayak from Athagarh and Tapas Nayak from Cuttack.
According to reports, the bus, which was travelling from Athagarh to Cuttack, collided head-on with a bike near Rathagada Square. The bike riders, Ram and Tapas, died on the spot. However, the bus driver fled the scene, leaving behind the mangled wreckage.
Athagarh police, meanwhile, have seized the bus and launched an investigation into the incident.
