Jharsuguda: Two persons were killed and another critically injured in a road accident near Fulkobi Chhak under Laikera police limits in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district on Sunday evening.
The identity of the victims is yet to be ascertained. The deceased are said to be from the Beelapali police station area in the district.
According to reports, the accident occurred when a scooter collided head on with a speeding car killing to scooter riders on the spot. The injured have been shifted to Gobindpur Hospital. On being informed, police recovered the bodies of the dead and sent them for autopsy. The police have launched an investigation into the fatal incident.
