Kalahandi: Two persons were killed and one seriously sustained injuries in a road accident near Depur on the Kalampur-Junagarh main road late at night.
The victims were identified as Rohit Patel, a resident of Paruaguda and Ajay Majhi, a resident of Mahulpada. The injured is Lakhmikant Majhi, a 14-year-old boy who was rushed to Kalampur Community Health Centre and later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital as his condition deteriorated.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the bike they were riding, OD 08M 6724, lost its balance and collided with a tree. The victims were on their way to Munduraguda village when the accident occurred. The bodies of the deceased have been kept at the Kalampur Community Health Centre.
