Bhubaneswar: In a devastating incident, two minor brothers, aged 6 and 8, lost their lives after drowning in a pond at Gunchipadar village under Bhawanipatna Sadar police station in Kalahandi.
The brothers were playing near the pond when the incident happened.
Upon receiving information, the Sadar police and fire department team rushed to the scene and rescued the bodies of the two minors from the pond. The bodies have been taken to Bhawanipatna District Headquarters Hospital for autopsy.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the locality.
