Bhubaneswar: Senior IAS officer of the Odisha-cadre Manoj Ahuja has been appointed as the Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
Ahuja, an IAS officer of the 1990-batch is currently serving as the Chairman, Central Board of Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, in the rank of Secretary to Government of India.
Similarly, another Odisha-cadre IAS officer of 1990-batch, Arti Ahuja, who is posted as the Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has been appointed as the Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petro-Chemicals, under Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet under Ministry of Personnel approved the appointments of the two senior IAS officers as Secretaries of the aforementioned Ministry & Department, on Tuesday.
