Two VSSUT Professors Suspended For Misconduct

Bhubaneswar: Authorities of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Burla suspended two professors for allegations of misconduct.

Professor Debabrata Dhupal from the Department of Production Engineering was suspended over allegations of misconduct involving a temporary female co-worker. Associate Professor Dr. Mahendra Jena from the Department of Mathematics was suspended due to allegations of bad approach towards a female research scholar.

Both professors failed to present their defence before the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). The university has taken disciplinary action against them, suspending them pending further investigation.
