Two Youths Injured After Being Fired In Balasore; Previous Enmity Suspected

Bhubaneswar: Two youths sustained critical injuries as miscreants opened fire at Arada Bazaar area under Sahadebakhunta police limits in Balasore late Monday night.

The victims have been identified as Manoj Kumar Sahu and Kartik Prasad of Nua Bazar area.

As per reports, the incident is suspected to be linked to previous enmity. The injured were first taken to District Headquarters Hospital and later shifted to FM Medical College and Hospital at Remuna. Police investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of firing.

The frequent shooting incidents in Balasore are, meanwhile, a matter of concern, with locals living in fear.
