Bhubaneswar: A portion of an under-construction building reportedly collapsed at Delta Square in Bhubaneswar late Sunday night, triggering concerns that several workers at the site may have been injured.
The incident occurred a day after a building collapse in Delhi’s Satya Niketan area claimed seven lives.
According to reports, a section of the under-construction structure caved in late Sunday night. Several workers were present at the site when the incident occurred and are suspected to have sustained injuries. The exact number of injured was not immediately known.
Locals said they heard a loud noise before the collapse came to light. The exact cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained.
