Paradip: A body buried under coal was recovered from a train wagon at Paradip Port.

According to reports, the coal-laden train wagon, which had transported coal from the Talcher mining area, arrived at the port on Sunday afternoon. Workers at the Mechanical Coal Handling Plant (MCHP) stumbled upon the body while unloading coal from one of the wagons.

The discovery led to a halt in coal unloading operations at the MCHP tippler, which has remained suspended since Sunday afternoon.  The body still remained inside the wagon tippler, yet to be retrieved, nearly a day after its discovery.

Police are currently working to identify the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. An investigation has been launched to uncover the details of this tragic event.
