Unruly Youths Vandalise Bargarh Ambavona Police Station

Bargarh: In a daring display of lawlessness, a group of youth from the Sohela block of Bargarh district vandalised the Bargarh Ambavona police station and broke the furniture and electronic equipment on Sunday.

According to reports about 25 to 30 youths from Ambavona block had gone to Tamdee for a picnic on Sunday morning. When the party was in full swing, a team from Bargarh Ambavona police station raided the place suspecting that the youths were taking drugs.

The police raid led to the dispersal of the youths but they soon attacked the police station and vandalised the place. They broke all the glass items, furniture, and computers at the police station and fled the place. Later, the SDPO Bargarh reached the spot and started an investigation.
