Bargarh: An under trial prisoner (UTP) escaped from Bargarh POCSO court. The UTP identified as Babaji Chhuria was brought to the court for a trial in a minor rape case.
The prisoner has been in Bargarh Jail for five years. He managed to give a slip to the police while they were taking him out of the court to take him to jail.
Chhuria allegedly attacked the police and ran away. His escape was captured on CCTV camera which showed the UTP was running and was followed by police personnel.
Later, police raided several places and caught him while he hid himself in an abandoned building.
