Bhubaneswar: An employee of the Government Tangi Veterinary Hospital was found hanging in his quarters.
The deceased has been identified as Titu Patra, a fourth-class employee who had been working at the hospital for the past six years.
According to sources, Titu was a resident of Uttarana village under Adaspur police limits. He used to open the hospital every morning, but he failed to report to work on Friday. It prompted his colleagues to visit his quarters. When they found the door locked, they informed the police.
On a tip-off, police rushed to the spot, broke open the door and found Titu hanging from the ceiling.
However, it is unclear whether Titu was murdered or committed suicide.
The police are currently investigating the incident and trying to determine the cause of his death.
