Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous searches at four locations belonging to Jagannath Pattnaik, Executive Engineer of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). The raids were carried out on allegations of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) to known sources of income.
The search operation, led by 6 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 10 Inspectors, and other supporting staff, is underway at the following locations:
- Plot No. RP-12, Badagada, Bhubaneswar (triple-storeyed building)
- Farmhouse at Mouza Ranapur, Balianta Tahasil, Khordha district
- Parental house at Jangam Street, Gunupur, Rayagada
- Office room at BMC, Bhubaneswar
The searches are being conducted based on search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar. Further updates will follow as the operation progresses.
