Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance on Friday launched simultaneous searches at eight locations linked to Prasanna Kumar Patra, Deputy Director of Soil Conservation-cum-Project Director, Watershed, Sundaragada on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.
The searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by one Additional Superintendent of Police, 4 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), 13 Inspectors, 5 Assistant Ssub-Inspectors and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Sundargada.
The raids are being carried out at the following eight places in Bhubaneswar, Sundaragada and Kataka:
- Flat No.8 on the 2nd floor of “Shrabani Residency” in Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar.
- Residential double-storeyed building of Patra located over Plot No.609/2012 at Phase–2, M-105, Manchanath Villa, Bhubaneswar.
- Another residential double-storeyed building of Patra located over Plot No.604/2011 at Phase–2, M-110, Manchanath Villa, Bhubaneswar.
- His residential double-storeyed building located on the paternal landed property under Balianta Tahasil, Dist. Khordha at Phase–2, M-115, Manchanath Villa, Bhubaneswar.
- Residential double-storeyed building of Patra located at Balianta, Bhubaneswar.
- Office room of Patra located in the office of the Dy. Director, Soil Conservation-cum-Project Director, Watershed, Sundargarh.
- Govt. quarter of Patra located at Sundargarh Town in front of his office.
- Residential house of his in-law at Village Charchika, PS-Banki, Cuttack.
