Villager Sustains Critical Injuries In Firing During Ram Navami Fest In Odisha’s Boudh

Bhubaneswar: One person sustained critical bullet injuries when two unidentified youths fired at him during the Ram Navami festivities in Pipalpali village of Kantamal in Odisha’s Boudh district on Wednesday late night.

According to reports, the Ram Navami festivities were in full swing in Pilpalpali village around 11.00 pm on Wednesday when two unidentified youths arrived on a motorbike and fired at Vishwamitra Jain. A critically injured Jain dropped to the ground while the miscreants fled the area under the cover of darkness.

Local villagers rushed Jain to a nearby hospital and informed the police about the incident.
