Cuttack: A minor girl allegedly abducted by the staff of an ashram was rescued after the intervention of villagers in Sadar area of Cuttack district on Sunday night.
Reportedly, villagers had surrounded the ashram alleging that a minor girl has been kidnapped from the nearby locality and brought into the ashram.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and initiated a probe into the matter. A staff of the ashram has been reportedly detained by police.
