VSSUT Professor Faces Suspension Over Allegations Of Intoxication & Poor Attendance

Bhubaneswar: An Associate Professor at the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Sambalpur has been suspended amid allegations of poor attendance and teaching while intoxicated.

As per reports, Jayaprakash Paramguru, the Associate Professor from the Department of Humanities has been accused of frequently missing classes and coming to classes under the influence of alcohol, sparking concerns among students and colleagues.

Following an internal investigation into these allegations, university authorities have decided to suspend the professor until the inquiry is complete.
