Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to experience warmer days in the next 4-5 days as the minimum temperature is expected to gradually rise by 2-3 degrees Celsius during this period in most districts.
The temperature may rise by up to 4 degrees Celsius. Although no significant change in temperature is anticipated, an increasing trend is expected.
According to Manorama Mohanty, Director of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Bhubaneswar, the temperature is likely to increase in coastal and interior Odisha due to heavy moisture, which may lead to dense fog.
The IMD has forecasted shallow to moderate fog in the early morning hours on Friday over the districts of Cuttack, Khordha, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, and Koraput.
Similar conditions may prevail in one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, and Sundargarh.
The weather agency has stated that dry weather conditions will prevail in the state over the next seven days.
