Bhubaneswar: The body of 42-year-old was found under suspicious circumstances at a guest house near Nalco Square under Maitri Vihar police station in Bhubaneswar on Sunday. Sarat Chandra Bhattacharya, a native of West Bengal had been living with his family in Bhubaneswar.
Police broke into the locked room and found Bhattacharya’s body with foam in his nose and blood oozing from his mouth. Earlier, his wife had lodged a missing person complaint at Dhauli police station after he failed to return home on December 19.
She alleged the involvement of a young woman, claiming she was with Bhattacharya at the guest house and fled after his death. The wife suspects foul play and alleges her husband was murdered. Police are investigating the case.
