Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain with lightning or thundershower is very likely to affect some parts of Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Balasore, Nuapada, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Subarnapur, Baragarh and Bolangir districts within next three hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here at 3.30 PM today. The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for these districts.
The IMD has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
