Weather Update: Moderate Rain With Lightning To Hit Nine Districts In Next Three Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a warning for light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers with lightning in several districts of Odisha in the next three hours.

The affected districts include Nuapada, Bargarh, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, and Jharsuguda.

As per the IMD report, the weather conditions are expected to worsen within the next three hours, with lightning strikes likely to occur in some parts of these districts. The department has advised people to be cautious and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes. Residents are advised to stay indoors due to the inclement weather.
