Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning are very likely to affect some parts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, and Balasore within the next three hours.
Issuing the weather warning, the regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has advised people to keep a watch on the conditions and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
The IMD has issued yellow warnings for heavy rain and thunderstorms in nine districts of the state today.
