Wires Laid To Trap Wild Boars Prove Fatal For Minor Boy

Jharsuguda: A 17-year-old minor boy died of electrocution in Sariepali village under Rengali police limits in Jharsuguda district of Odisha.

The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Yadav, a resident of Kesepali village under Pusour police station in Chhattisgarh.

The incident occurred when Sanjay came into contact with a live wire laid to trap wild boars in a paddy field.

According to sources, Sanjay had gone to his maternal uncle’s house at Sariepali village when the incident occurred.

Preliminary investigation suggests that Sanjay died due to electrocution after coming into contact with the live wire. The police have recovered the body and are conducting further investigation said the officer-in-charge of Rengali police station.
